Scholarships for Students
Essential and Self-Serving for the Podiatric Profession

Well-trained graduates of Podiatric Medical Schools are the lifeblood of our profession. Without these students and postgraduate education in quality residency programs, our profession would stagnate. As it becomes more costly for young men and women to obtain a degree in Podiatric Medicine, scholarship funds become more essential to attract the most highly qualified students. Scholarships allow some of the brightest to attend podiatry schools when otherwise it would be impossible for them to afford to go to school.

Your Gift Makes a Difference

Student aid today is heavily weighted toward funds that must be paid back, yet a growing number of current DPM students cannot rely on loans to finance their studies.

The generous donors who have established or contributed toward scholarship funds at the California Foundation for Excellence are helping these dedicated students fulfill their dreams.  In so doing, they are reaching out not only to the individual recipients of their largesse but also to the thousands of people whom these students will serve in the course of their professional careers.

The CaFFE scholarship funds assist the most deserving DPM students in California, while giving donors the opportunity to commemorate a defining moment, or honor in perpetuity the memory of a loved one.  Click here for descriptions of the CaFFE scholarship funds.
